As a freelance architect for the past 20 years, I have observed the gradual change in the clients’ requirements which follow the fluctuations of their financial status. Due to the current adverse economic situation in Greece, there has been an increasing demand for minimum renovations through color interventions.

Colorchat is the new bright online service that has started becoming reality. Through meticulous color selections it aims to transform your rooms, homes, buildings, etc.

• It is an online- low budget- architectural service that uses the power of color as a tool to reform the space that surrounds us. The need for professional support can now become accessible to more people.
• A breakthrough in renovation that combines professional results at affordable cost- a necessity in the crisis era. The idea came through financial crisis when the need for space improvement is increasing, while short in financial means.

Colorchat is a human centered service operated by architects (not computers!).
Many color industries have launched online applications simulating the use of their different color shades.  This is a 100% automated digital service lacking the personalized approach on which every successful architectural intervention is based. This “seemingly” free service cannot be accurate due to variations in monitor calibration and often leads to unsuccessful results. The end user is usually left unsatisfied in a chaos of color tins.

As a matter of principle before proceeding with our proposals, we collect important data about the premises and the end user of the project (i.e. date and type of construction, materials, orientation, light, use of the premises, age and lifestyle of users, other colors in the space etc.)

We collect the information by questionnaires, photos, e-mails, Skype conference and- when applicable- on site visits.
To ensure best results, we send real (painted) samples.
We work independently from color companies and our clients may order paint from the brand of their choice.
