Entrepreneurs Sign Up
Entrepreneurs who have successfully managed to complete the PRAKSIS BCC program, and participants carefully selected and approved by our partner hubs, are invited to register to become One-up members. The interested entrepreneurs should contact the owner of the hub of which they are a part and request the hub to contact us in order to approve the business case. Once the BCC team has reviewed the business case, successful candidates will be invited to upload their campaigns on the One-up platform. |

Donors Lend a Hand
Donors come to the One-up site and browse through business ideas, selecting which one they would like to support. You can also give to the One-up fund, and we’ll make sure that your euros go towards those with the most urgent needs – i.e. – those that are closest to completion and need a top-up, those that need to get some momentum in their crowdfunding, those in whom a quick start is necessary towards their success etc. Unlike other forms of giving, 100% of your donation goes directly towards business needs, with zero administrative fees. The only fees are the commission charged by the Bank, which again range only between 0.5% to 1.5%. Standard crowdfunding rates range between 4% to 5%. We are proud to have achieved such low rates and thank Alpha Bank and supporting our efforts. |

Members Redeem Donations
All donations are placed into a PRAKSIS account and provided by us to the entrepreneurs as and when they meet and reach their agreed milestones. This enables us to monitor and report on the proper use of your donation. In other words, once an entrepreneur meets their fundraising goal, they redeem their donations in pre-agreed sums through PRAKSIS. PRAKSIS either pays direct for the product or service that they need (i.e. – downpayment of rent, or provides the entrepreneur with the cash to reach their first milestone). We will also help entrepreneurs post updates to their donors who helped them launch their business. In return, donors can send encouraging words of support along the way or take advantage of any perks the entrepreneur has offered. |

Impact Beyond your Donation
When you give on One-up, new entrepreneurs get access to alternative sources of funding and resources that currently don’t exist in Greece’s crisis-hit economy. They also stay or can become engaged with a business community and peer-to-peer support, through the BCC, which can in turn connect them with other vital resources and services that already exist in the community. This provides entrepreneurs with grass-roots support in order to ensure, as far as possible, long-term sustainable business success. The impact of new businesses has multiplier effects that go beyond the immediate family unit to local neighborhoods and economies. |
As our business community of entrepreneurs grow and businesses take on new staff members, their first point of reference is PRAKSIS that serves crisis-hit families. In this way, our new entrepreneurs have the opportunity to give back and serve our community and families in need.
